‘Deputy’: Karrueche Tran Joins Fox’s Upcoming Police Drama Series

‘Deputy’: Karrueche Tran Joins Fox’s Upcoming Police Drama Series

With the fourth and final season of Claws recently announced, it appears that Karrueche Tran has booked her next acting role.

Deadline reports that Tran has joined the upcoming Fox drama series, Deputy. Directed by David Ayer and starring Stephen Dorff, the Fox drama will chronicle a fifth-generation lawman who leads a team of ambitious and complex humans whose primary goal is seeking justice. Written by Will Beall, Deputy will mix elements of cop dramas and classic westerns.

Tran will play Genevieve, a fun-loving, free spirit who is also a deputy in the department. The showrunner of Deputy is a Black woman, Kim Harrison.


Aside from Tran and DorffDanielle Moné Truitt, Yara Martinez, Brian Van Holt, Bex Taylor-Klaus, Shane Paul McGhie and Mark Moses co-star.
