Documentary On Breonna Taylor's Killing Will Be A Part Of FX And Hulu's 'The New York Times Presents'

The story of Breonna Taylor’s murder at the hands of police will be investigated as part of The New York Times Presents’ documentary series.

The series, which will air on FX and Hulu, will explore, according to the press release, “breaking news, investigations and character-driven stories” with reporting from New York Times journalists.

The documentary centers around Taylor and the circumstances leading up to her death and it will be presented by New York Times reporter and four-time Pulitzer Prize finalist Rukmini Callimachi and directed by director/producer Yoruba Richen. “Ms. Taylor’s family and others will help reconstruct how the police, executing a search warrant, arrived at Ms. Taylor’s apartment shortly after midnight on March 13 and shot her five times,” states the official description.

The New York Times Presents is set to air on FX and Hulu Fridays at 10 p.m., with one episode debuting per month. The first documentary, chronicling the coronavirus’ effect on New York City, will air July 10. The second, centered around upcoming pop star Dominic Fike, will air Aug. 7.
