After House of Lies, it looks like Don Cheadle is headed back to Showtime.

He is set to star with Andrew Rannells in Ball Street.

Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg will executive produce and direct the comedy, which is from David Caspe and Jordan Cahan.

Ball Street, is set on October 19, 1987 (Black Monday) – the worst stock market crash in Wall Street history. The series is the story of how outsiders took on the old-boys club and ended up crashing it all.

Chealde will play Rod “The Jamer” Jaminski, a self-made corporate raider.

“When the global economy incinerates itself, people always wonder why. Ball Street is a dream project rising from the ashes of that disaster. In Don Cheadle and Andrew Rannells, we have two of the most dynamic performers in the world today – the question is which one of them lit the match. With Seth, Evan, David and Jordan at the helm, we are primed for the launch of something memorable,” said Showtime president David Nevins.

Showtime has another comedy,  Jamie Foxx & Jay Pharoah’s White Famous, premiering next month.
