Was Donald And Stephen Glover's Deadpool Series Axed Because Of Taylor Swift?

Could Taylor Swift have been the reason for the reason we won’t see the animated Deadpool series that was planned at FX from Marvel and Donald and Stephen Glover.

According to now-deleted tweets from Stephen Glover, the polarizing pop star could be to blame!

Per The Wrap, Glover tweeted, “There really was a Taylor Swift episode. It was HILARIOUS. And it definitely was the last straw lol.”

In a second tweet, he wrote, “Our show wasn’t too black. It wasn’t really that black at all. But we definitely wanted to give ‘Rick and Morty’ a run for their money and I think we would have. Proud of the gang.”

FX first said in an announcement that the network, Marvel and the Glovers parted ways on the project due to creative differences.

The next day, Glover clarified on Twitter that he wasn’t “too busy” for the project, and released a now-viral would-be script for the project, citing #BiteGate, bitcoin and more.
