Elise Neal has unearthed an All of Us bombshell, strongly hinting that co-creators Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith are the reason she left the sitcom.

According to RollingOut, Neal said on a recent episode of the Hip Hop Uncensored Podcast that the couple made the set’s working environment toxic for her.

“If someone is unhappy, they spread that unhappiness to others. I wasn’t happy on that set because people treated me in a way I could tell they were unhappy,” she said. “Bottom line is, their marriage, they decided what their marriage is going to be, they decided that a long time ago.” She continued with remarks about how she–and others–can’t judge their marriage because, as she said, “I’m not involved in their marriage, they know what’s going in their marriage if they decide they are gonna come together and that’s the type of marriage that they want and they’re okay with that.”

“I have had a lot of fun on other jobs that I’ve done, and a lot of people know I exited that set early. And yeah, I’m going to be happy to say, ‘yeah I miss the money,’ but I didn’t miss not coming to work happy,” she continued. “I was not happy because they were not happy, and I wasn’t being treated fairly because they were not happy.”

Neal’s experience is vastly different from Sheléa’s experience with the show. Sheléa, who sang the show’s theme song and starred in Lifetime’s The Clark Sisters: First Ladies of Gospel, recently wrote on Instagram about the kindness the Smith family showed her.

“When I met them both and their stunningly beautiful children (who were about 5 and 2 at the time) at their home–they were the most loving and genuine humans. So kind,” she wrote.
