First, the actress has booked a series regular role in CBS’ drama pilot “The Get,” which hails from Bridget Carpenter “Friday Night Lights,” and centers on a team of determined online journalists who use unconventional methods to uncover stories, in today’s competitive news environment where clicks are all that matter. Corinealdi has signed up to play Noelle, who is described as a fearless journalist who never backs down from a story she cares about.

And second, Ms. Corinealdi has also booked a recurring role on the upcoming third season of HBO’s comedy series “Ballers,” which stars Dwayne Johnson as a retired superstar pro-footballer who manages the finances of current pro footballers, with Miami as a backdrop. Corinealdi will play Candace Brewer, who is described a a high-powered sports executive who goes toe to toe with star Johnson’s  character, Spencer Strasmore.

Corinealdi, who was last was seen in A&E’s “Roots” remake and Don Cheadle’s “Miles Ahead,” will next be seen in the final season of Amazon’s original series “Hand of God,” which premieres March 10, 2017 on the streaming platform.
