The sixth and final season of the FOX musical drama Empire is fast approaching and fans can get a peek at the first episode via this clip, only on Shadow And Act.

In the scene, Cookie and Becky, played respectively by Academy Award-nominated actresses Taraji P. Henson and Gabourey Sidibe, are having a slumber party and bonding while discussing future plans and desires.

The final season of Empire is set to show characters in totally different directions from where they began the first season. Lucious Lyon (Terrence Howard) is on the run from the Feds, while Cookie keeps busy by focusing on her brand outside of Empire, which now includes a daytime talk show and a community center.

The sixth and final season of Empire premieres on Fox on Tuesday, September 24 at 9 pm.
