Former U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder and Jerry Bruckheimer setting up legal drama at CBS inspired by his life

Eric Holder, one of the former U.S. attorney generals under President Barack Obama is teaming up with Jerry Bruckheimer for a legal drama, Main Justice. at CBS.

The project is under Bruckheimer’s overall deal with CBS TV Studios.

It is written by Sascha Penn (Power, Survivor’s Remorse), and executive produced by Bruckheimer and Holder.

According to Deadline, who broke the news, the series “takes us into the tumultuous world of the 5th floor of the Department of Justice where the AG takes on the biggest legal and investigative cases in the country all while being the youngest person to ever hold such an esteemed position.”

Holder served as AG from 2009-2015 before returning to private practice. He has recently done consulting for Airbnb.
