In the infamous words of Drake, some celebrities “started from the bottom,” and in many cases, they worked odd jobs while pursuing their dreams in the arts.

The same can be said for Euphoria star Angus Cloud, who plays Fez on the HBO drama. Like many of his peers, he worked other gigs to support himself before his breakout role, one of which was in the foodservice industry.

A clip was recently posted on social media working in the restaurant industry just four short years ago before starring as the beloved character Fez.

TikTok user shares throwback clip of Cloud as her waiter

Fans react to video

Viewers of the show across all social media platforms are going off at the idea that Cloud could have served them at their favorite restaurant.

On TikTok, one comment reads, “imagine being served by Angus,” while another commented on his seemingly disgruntled demeanor as he tries to do his job amid the chaos writing, “This looks like it’s the moment he decided to quit his job and start acting.”

As it turns out, the restaurant he was working at has been identified as Woodland, a now-closed Brooklyn bar and brunch spot.

It officially closed in 2020 after complaints (including noise) amid what the owners referred to as racial tension because the restaurant had primarily Black customers in a rapidly gentrifying and now-white neighborhood.

The reactions on Twitter to the video as just as entertaining:
