Unfortunately for fans of Everything’s Trash, they won’t see the continuation of the character’s dating woes. The Phoebe Robinson comedy, which premiered in June 2022, was not renewed for a second season. The series also starred Jordan Carlos, Toccarra Cash, Nneka Okafor and Moses Storm.

The season wrapped in September.

Per the Deadline exclusive, the series was Freeform’s least-watched and lowest-rated series in linear rating this year. The majority of the network’s views come from their streaming partnership with Hulu. The numbers on whether viewers watched on the streaming platform are not available.

The series was based on Robinson's book

Based on Robinson’s book, the show Everything’s Trash follows podcaster Phoebe. In her 30s, as her professional life is on the rise, her bank account and dating life are a mess. She’s forced to censor herself when her older brother becomes a leading political candidate. She leans on her close-knit family and friend group to help figure out adulthood.
