'FBI: Most Wanted': Edwin Hodge Joins Cast Of CBS Procedural, Replacing This Exiting Cast Member

FBI: Most Wanted has added Edwin Hodge to its cast as a new character that is joining the team amid one cast member’s departure.

The show is set to kick off its fourth season. Hodge’s casting comes on the heels of the exit of cast member Miguel Gomez, who left the show as a result of a “creative decision.”

Gomez, portrayed Special Agent Ivan Ortiz on the CBS show for two seasons. The character was written off as Ortiz traveled back home to Los Angeles and take care of his sick father.

Per TV Line, Hodge is slated to portray the character of Ray Cannon, a junior detective who started his career in New Orleans. Following his father’s footsteps, Cannon graduated at the top of his class at Quantico and recently transferred to Remy Scott’s (Dylan McDermott) team from the FBI’s Violent Crimes office.

Recently it was announced that the actor joined forces with his brother, Aldis Hodge, to write the upcoming science-fiction drama Parallel, which is slated to be directed by Kourosh Ahari. The film also stars Danielle Deadwyler.

FBI: Most Wanted adds to Hodge’s extensive lists TV credits, which include Good Sam, Rosewood, Sleepy Hollow, Mayans M.C., Chicago Fire and For All Mankind.

FBI: Most Wanted‘s fourth season Sept. 20 on CBS.
