Not a day goes by that we aren't in disbelief that 45 is still in office. While our country is being ruined daily by one of reality tv's biggest stars, we can't help but wonder which of our real TV favorites would make a much better president. Anything is possible, right? Here are our top choices. Let's make this country great again.

1. Kelli (Insecure)

Giphy

Insecure's Kelli is more than just funny. She keeps it real and refuses to sugar coat or compromise the truth for comfort. She's always striving for the betterment of her life and making sure her friends are working with what they have.

She's not afraid to admit her mistakes and laugh at herself. Considering the massive potholes the U.S. has found itself in lately, it sure would be nice to have a Commander in Chief that will clean up this mess with a good sense of humor.

Anyone becoming elected after Trump will surely need one.

2.
Missy (Survivor's Remorse)

Giphy

She's a rational thinker, she's educated and well-traveled, she knows what she wants, and she has no problem speaking her mind. What more could you want in a president?

3. Huey (The Boondocks)

He's the afro-samurai that never cracks a smile, but Huey is the voice of reason we need, but don't deserve.

In very few words, his presidential speeches will resonate through history textbooks. He has no problem with calling out all races, creeds, and colors on their downfalls, even black folks and he stays well-read.

Huey is skilled with abilities that seem almost inhuman, but this provocateur will make sure our country is not spoiled with nonsensical bs, or "fake news" for that matter.

4. Diane (Black-ish)

Giphy

She's wise beyond her years and knows what she wants. She's confident and witty and takes no prisoners. She may be borderline a dictator, but with her no foolishness allowed attitude, Diane is sure to keep this country in check.

5.
Dave Chappelle as Black Bush (The Chappelle Show)

Giphy

New York Magazine did a side-by-side comparison between one of Dave Chappelle's most famous skits as "Black Bush" and the white "Black Bush" himself, Donald Trump.

Though Chappelle's aim was to comically detail what it would be like to have a black president in office. However, after Barack Obama's two terms, it is evident that "Black Bush" most closely resembles the antics of Trump.

His sloppy divergence tactics, poor choice of words, and his fixation with how the media portrays his administration is almost uncanny to that of "Black Bush".

Still, Dave Chappelle as Black Bush would make a better president.

"Vote or die!"

6.
Numbuh 5 (Code Name Kids Next Door)

Giphy

Unlike many of the kids in the secret society, Abby aka Numbuh 5 of Codename: Kids Next Door was always about her business. She stuck to ever mission and took her roles as second in command to the leader of Sector V to Supreme Leader to heart.

She's street smart and refers to herself in the third person. She doesn't even trust the government herself. Having a president who has no problem with giving "the man" the side eye, just might be the leader we need.

7.
Pedro (Napolean Dynamite)

Giphy

He's a man of few words, but when he does talk, it's bound to be something worth listening to. And right about now, we can use a president who doesn't like to hear the sound of his own voice.

8. Franklin (My Wife and Kids)

Let's be honest. At his age, this little genius is more qualified and competent than Trump is at the age of 71. Franklin is sophisticated, has a way with words that are bound to swing the female vote, and will at the least never confuse 9/11 with the convenience store 7 Eleven.

Like seriously, how can you say no to this face? Not to mention he taught two grown men how to deliver a baby.

9. Darius (Atlanta)

Giphy

In almost every role he takes on, Lakeith Stanfield dominates it. But for his role as Darius in FX's Atlanta, there is something quite uniquely satisfying.

He may be bizarre and quirky, but like we're sure Stanfield is in real life, his woke and eccentric character can't help than to gravitate people to him almost effortlessly. He makes us think deeply, even if at sometimes it doesn't seem like it makes sense, if you are honest with yourself, it always does.

“As humans, we’re always close to destruction. Life itself is but a series of close calls. I mean, how would you know you were alive unless you knew you could die?”

What makes him a good president?

The question is more like "what wouldn't make him a good president?" With the man who came up with the most dreaded catchphrase in reality TV history, "you're fired", what makes Darius unqualified?

10.
Ghost (Power)

Giphy

He's classified as an anti-hero or villain, but in all retrospect, we might feel safer with him in office than a president with a trigger finger for Twitter rants.

In the pilot episode of the hit Starz show, James "Ghost" St. Patrick is even seen getting his hands dirty. Surely, we may not want a murderer in the White House, but with a background like his, he's bound to keep enemies at bay and will have no problem not smiling in the faces of white supremacy and bigotry that masks itself as our other politicians.

Giphy

He's the perfect amount of "crazy" for the job.

11. Olivia Pope (Scandal)

Giphy

You already saw this one coming.

For seasons, Pope and her team of gladiators have worked miracles, solved problems before they reached the point of no return, and saved the reputations of politicians found in pathetic predicaments and civilians tangled in their web of deceit and greed before forever becoming demoralized.

Giphy

With her rapid-fire lectures that can send shivers down your spine and a death wrangling glare that can leave you frozen in your tracks, she is a force to be reckoned with.

Though some of her enemies test her, she remains composed in the public-eye with a designer bag on her arm and the clanking of expensive heels down a hall. You'll know that Pope is coming to get the job and is the epitome of "Ugh! I'll just do it myself."

Even "Pope for President" has a nice ring to it.

12. Darryl (The Office)

Giphy

Somebody give our man Darryl a promotion. How about a promotion to the Oval office for always delivering the best commentary, showing white people how to not make people of color uncomfortable, and he gives the best advice with the best sarcasm:

Having a president who knows what's up, minds his own business and puts up with the chaos and sometimes situations that don't even seem to make sense all without cracking a smile, is just what we need for 2020.
