Film Funding - Call For Feature Film Entries By Filmmakers From Trinidad & Tobago

For our Trinbagonian readers… a call for feature film entries in need of production funding (and who doesn’t need that). Deadline for submissions is September 52013.

The Feature Film Programme seeks to support high quality films that demonstrate innovative and original creative elements, by awarding production funding. This award shall take the form of an Advance. All awarded productions must be completed within 36 months of the award being confirmed. Each production is to be of no less than 72 minutes in length, and must have the capacity to be screened on any major platform. The Trinidad and Tobago Film Company (TTFC) will support a percentage of a production’s budget, up to a maximum amount of $600,000 TT (or about $94,000US) production costs spent in Trinidad and Tobago. The amount of each award given to any production will depend on the experience of the producer or producer/director, the creative and production personnel and the nature of the submission.

Preference will be given to projects that explore subjects relevant to Trinidad and Tobago and the Caribbean region.
