Film London Microwave Training And Funding Program Aims For Diversity

The micro budget funding and production training initiative, the Film

London Microwave program, which

is sponsored by the  BFI and BBC Films has announced that they are now accepting applications

for this year’s program.

According to Film London, “backing diversity like never

before, and aiming to reflect the city’s population, the scheme aims to long

list at least 50% filmmakers from black, Asian and minority ethnic backgrounds.

The program will not only just fund films, but will also offer, training through production, as well as distribution support for

projects that are greenlit for production.

The program will offer promising filmmakers development

support and funding for production and distribution of film projects.

The deadline for applications is July 30th.
