Netflix wants filmmakers to take part in its Dear White People Film Competition! The contest starts May 1 and ends June 10.

The official announcement came down on Tuesday.

The rules overview state that applicants must be attending a college or university and their short films should focus on the theme “Dear______.” The films shouldn’t be longer than six minutes and all submissions will be watched by a first round of judges. The top five submissions will then be viewed by Justin Simien and a select group of judges. Winners will have their film screened at the official Dear White People Season 3 screening and have a personal consultation with Simien.

You can submit your film at DWPFilmSubmit.com. Good luck!

Dear White People, based on Simien’s 2014 film of the same name, stars Logan Browning, Brandon P. Bell, Antoinette Robertson, DeRon Horton, John Patrick Amedori, Ashley Blaine Featherson and Marque Richardson.
