'First Kill' First Look: Netflix Series Gives Vampiric Edge to Forbidden Teenage Love

A story of star-crossed lovers, vampires and vampire hunters takes place in Netflix’s upcoming series, First Kill. The series stars Sarah Catherine Hook and Imani Lewis as two girls from opposite sides of the supernatural falling in love, despite their families wanting to kill each other.

The series drops on Netflix on June 10.

Hook plays Juliette, a vampire who is supposed to make her first kill, cementing her as an adult vampire. But she eventually falls in love with Calliope (Lewis), who just so happens to be from a family of vampire hunters.

According to the description:

When it’s time for teenage vampire Juliette (Sarah Catherine Hook) to make her first kill so she can take her place among a powerful vampire family, she sets her sights on a new girl in town named Calliope (Imani Lewis). But much to Juliette’s surprise, Calliope is a vampire hunter from a family of celebrated slayers. Both find that the other won’t be so easy to kill and, unfortunately, way too easy to fall for.
