Halle Berry has posted the first image of her as Sofia in John Wick: Chapter 3 to her Instagram page. The image features her heading confidently into danger, flanked alongside two large dogs.
Berry was confirmed as a cast member in late May. Her character is mostly a mystery save for the fact that she’s an assassin with a child, but regardless of if she’s for or against Wick, we can be sure that she’s formidable.
In John Wick: Chapter 3, the titular character (Keanu Reeves) will have to fend himself from the murderers on his tail who are hoping to kill him for the $14 million bounty placed on him. The film also stars Laurence Fishburne, Ian McShane, Anjelica Huston, Lance Riddick, Asia Kate Dillon, Mark Dacascos and Jason Mantzoukas. John Wick: Chapter 3 will be in theaters May 17, 2019.
