This Is Us is slowly revealing this season’s various mysteries, and come Feb. 19, the mystery surrounding Beth’s (Susan Kelechi Watson) life will be revealed.

Entertainment Weekly has first look images of the upcoming episode entitled “Our Little Island Girl,” which features Melanie Liburd as Beth’s cousin Zoe, Goran Višnjić as Beth’s teacher and Phylicia Rashad as Beth’s mother Carol. The episode will focus on Beth and Zoe’s trip to visit Carol, and throughout the trip, viewers will get flashback information on Beth’s earlier life. The reveals will also clue fans in on what could be in store for Beth in the future, as revealed in last season’s flashforward finale.

Watson talked to EW about what it means to have Rashad join the cast as Beth’s mother, citing the similarities between the two characters.

“I just thought, ‘Oh! This is going to be amazing,'” she said. “One of the biggest comparisons I hear is how Beth reminds people of Claire Huxtable…It almost feels like the only person it could be.”

This Is Us airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET on NBC.
