Okurrr! Fran Drescher wants rap’s history-making MC Cardi B to play her daughter in a reboot of her hit ’90s sitcom The Nanny.

In an interview with People magazine, Drescher discussed the chances of bringing back the show, given the recent influx of reboots of television shows from the ’80s and ’90s.

“I’m totally down with doing it,” Drescher said. “I don’t know what is going on with some of these networks out there because they do not seem to be hip to the fact that there’s an obsession among millennials for the show and moi!”

The Emmy-nominated actress also didn’t hold back her two-cents when it comes to casting dream roles for The Nanny reboot.

“I wanna do a sitcom with Cardi B,” she said. “Wouldn’t she be great as my daughter?”

The idea of Cardi B being associated in a remake of The Nanny is nothing new. In December, author and blogger Franchesca Ramsey posted a tweet with a caption stating, “please remake The Nanny with Cardi as the star, please and thank you.” The post went viral, garnering over 20,000 retweets.

In the wake of Drescher’s announcement, Ramsey’s Twitter post is garnering attention, particularly for an imagining television promo image depicting Cardi B as The Nanny.
