Due to a partnership between AMC Theaters and 20th Century Fox, there will be free screenings of The Hate U Give!

According to Deadline, “underserved and underrepresented youth” across the country will be able to watch the film this weekend, free of charge.

Free screenings will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 6 in these select cities: Atlanta, Baltimore, Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, Philadelphia and Washington, D.C.

Schools and community groups can apply to be considered for a free screening here.

People can also donate to the cause and contribute to screenings for classrooms around the country. 20th Century Fox’s parent company, 20th Century Fox, will match donations up to $25,000.

Additionally, there is a curriculum guide available about the novel and film.

This is the second program of its kind from the studio. A similar, free community screening opportunity was enacted for Hidden Figures.

In The Hate U Give, based on Angie Thomas’ best-selling book, Starr Carter is constantly switching between two worlds: the poor, mostly black neighborhood where she lives and the rich, mostly white prep school she attends. The uneasy balance between these worlds is shattered when Starr witnesses the fatal shooting of her childhood best friend, Khalil, at the hands of a police officer. Now, facing pressures from all sides of the community, Starr must find her voice and stand up for what’s right.

The film stars Amandla Stenberg as Starr along with Regina Hall, Russell Hornsby, K.J. Apa, Lamar Johnson, Issa Rae, Algee Smith and Sabrina Carpenter, Common and Anthony Mackie.

The film is out in limited release beginning this weekend and will be nationwide on October 19.
