It’s Friday the 13th, so why not…

Filmmakers are strongly encouraged to stay far away from these very predictable and unoriginal ideas, if you plan on making a horror movie. I think most of us will be very familiar with number 9 on the list. It’s become so commonplace now that we are actually surprised when it doesn’t happen; we even joke about it.

As for what they missed, how about the “refrigerator door reveal,” or the “mirror scare,” or the “no cell-phone signal” cliche.
