After the stunning teaser trailer was released last December, we now have the full trailer for Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, the animated Spidey flick centering on the Afro-Latino web-slinger, Miles Morales. Shameik Moore stars as Morales.
Sony also unveiled the rest of the cast. Jake Johnson is Miles' reluctant mentor, Peter Parker; Liev Schreiber plays the crime lord Kingpin; Hailee Steinfeld is Spider-Gwen; Mahershala Ali is Miles' uncle, Aaron; Brian Tyree Henry is Miles' father, Jefferson; Luna Lauren Velez is Miles' mother, Rio; and Lily Tomlin is Aunt May.
The film is directed by Bo Persichetti, Peter Ramsey and Rodney Rothman. The screenplay is from Phil Lord. Avi Arad, Amy Pascal, Phil Lord, Christopher Miller and Christina Steinberg are producers.
"We are lucky to have such an amazing cast of funny, genuine creative souls to populate the Spider-verse. They have generous minds and great big hearts. And they have very talented throats. Which is where their delightful voices come from. We can't wait for the world to see Miles Morales on the big screen. He's such a fun and exciting new character, and telling his story through a revolutionary visual style makes for a totally fresh cinematic experience that, if we may say so, is freaking amazing," producers Phil Lord and Christopher Miller said.
