A new animated comedy series starring Samuel L. Jackson and Ryan Reynolds is headed to Quibi.
Titled Futha Mucka, the series was created and executive produced by Jim and Brian Kehoe. Futha Mucka will also star Deadpool actor Ryan Reynolds.
Per Deadline, the show’s logline is as follows: “Samuel L. Jackson and Ryan Reynolds love each other. More accurately, Ryan loves Sam. When a minor mishap causes Sam to become Ryan’s primary caregiver, things get weird.”
Jackson and Ryan Reynolds are also executive producing the series. The show will be produced by Anonymous Content and Reynolds will produce the show through his production company, Maximum Effort.
Other executive producers for Futha Mucka include Anonymous Content’s Nina Soriano, Charlie Scully and George Dewey, Patrick Gooing, Chris and Shannon Prynoksi and Ben Kalina for Titmouse. Quibi is also the home of Antoine Fuqua’s #FreeRayshawn, starring Stephan James and Samuel L. Jackson.
