L.A.’s Finest, the Bad Boys TV spinoff starring Gabrielle Union and Jessica Alba, has halted production after two people were injured on set.

According to Deadline, producers and showrunners Brandon Margolis and Brandon Sonnier sustained non life-threatening, but serious, injuries Thursday after a stunt car crashed into the video village where the two were watching the scene. Both were taken to the hospital. Sonnier has been transferred to another location whereas Margolis has been released. Filming will not resume Friday, and currently, there’s no word on when production will continue.

“Our hearts go out to our SPT family members who were injured and we pray for a full recovery,” said Sony Pictures TV President Jeff Frost and co-Presidents Jason Clodfelter and Chris Parnell in a statement, according to Deadline.

L.A.’s Finest features Union reprising her Bad Boys II character, Special Agent Sydney Burnett. Now an LAPD detective, she’s partnered with Nancy McKenna (Alba), a working mother who has as much baggage as Burnett does. As the synopsis states: “Taking on the most dangerous criminals in Los Angeles while skirting the rules, and speed limits, Syd and Nancy become a force to be reckoned with–on the streets, and in each other’s lives.” Ernie Hudson, Zack Gilford, Duane Martin, Ben Baines and Ryan McPartlin round out the cast.

L.A.’s Finest is expected to come to Spectrum May 13.
