Gabrielle Union has inked an overall deal with BET Studios through her production company, I’ll Have Another.

The agreement is yet another big move for Paramount Global’s BET Studios, which launched in September 2021 as a partnership between Paramount and BET to increase the supply of content from Black creators. and Union’s production company is the latest to join its ranks.

BET Studios shows are produced for a number of Paramount Global entities, including Paramount+, SHOWTIME, CBS, Nickelodeon, BET+, and BET, in addition to outside parties.

Scott Mills, Chief Executive Officer of BET, said:

Gabrielle Union also commented on her new partnership with BET Studios, adding, “I’ll Have Another believes that culture, community, and individual representation on-screen matters. It was important to me that we partner with a studio that supported our vision and BET Studios has done exactly that. I’m excited for this new chapter and what we will accomplish together.”

Gabrielle Union launched her production company, I’ll Have Another, in 2018.

Kian Gass has been named head of development and production for the company, which focuses on storytelling that centers on marginalized communities, telling stories from their point of view, always looking for authenticity.

Union is attached to star in several projects onthe way from the company, including Netflix’s upcoming The Perfect Find alongside Gina Torres and Keith Powers. Union has also recently served as an executive producer on Disney+’s Cheaper By The Dozen, in which she stars with Zack Braff. That movie came out earlier this year.
