During the event, a moderated conversation with the film’s stars Tobi Bakre, Adesua Etomi-Wellington and Chioma Chukwuka, was held with comedian/actor Dulo.

In addition to the sit-down interview, attendees were served authentic Nigerian food while listening to tunes by DJ Buka.

Those in attendance included Zephani Idoko, Gifty Boake, TJ Adeshola Tunde Ogundipe and more.

'Gangs of Lagos' premiered on Prime Video on April 7.

Here’s an official description:

‘Gangs of Lagos’ is a high-stakes, gritty, and hard-hitting action crime-thriller, with an authentic storyline centred on a group of childhood friends who each have to navigate destiny, growing up on the bustling streets and neighbourhood of Isale Eko, Lagos. It features elaborate set pieces, action scenes, and engaging dialogue, balanced by a high-octane pace and emotionally grounded story at its core.

Gangs of Lagos premiered on April 7 worldwide exclusively on Prime Video as well as in Nigeria and sub-Saharan Africa. The film, which comes from acclaimed filmmaker Jáde Osiberu, is one of the most highly anticipated films that has come out of Nollywood, the world’s second-largest film industry this year.
