Samantha Ware is opening up on social media about her experience with Lea Michele on the set of Glee. Ware quote tweeted a message that Michele posted on her Twitter about George Floyd’s murder.

In the series, Ware appeared in the sixth and final season of the show as a member of New Directions who transferred from Dalton Academy. She has since starred in Netflix’s What/If and appeared in shows like God Friended Me.

Michele’s tweet said, “George Floyd did not deserve this. This was not an isolated incident and it must end. #BlackLivesMatter.”

Ware responded with, “LMAO REMEMBER WHEN YOU MADE MY FIRST TELEVISON GIG A LIVING HELL?!?! CAUSE ILL NEVER FORGET. I BELIEVE YOU TOLD EVERYONE THAT IF TOU HAD THE OPPORTUNITY YOU WOULD “SHIT IN MY WIG!” AMONGST OTHER TRAUMATIC MICROAGRESSIONS THAT MADE ME QUESTION A CAREER IN HOLLYWOOD…”

After Ware’s tweet, several of Michele’s Black co-stars from Glee and The Mayor also weighed in.

Michele has yet to respond to the statements.

UPDATE: Hello Fresh has ended their partnership with Michele in light of her former co-stars’ statements:
