Grown-ish will be back for another season! The Freeform Black-ish spinoff has been renewed for Season 3 at the network.

The news was announced at Wednesday’s Television Critics Association press tour, along with the Season 2 renewal for The Fosters spinoff Good Trouble.

The series is a strong rating producer for Freeform, ranking as cable’s No. 1 comedy for women 18-49.

The official description for Season 2: After the wide-eyed firsts of their freshman year, season two of Grown-ish follows Zoey and her friends as they enter their second year at CalU with confidence and swagger. Learning from the ups and downs of their first year, they all think they’ve got their second year on lock, but quickly realize they’re not as grown as they think.

Yara Shahidi leads the cast as popular but entitled Zoey Johnson, joined by Trevor Jackson as socially conscious Aaron Jackson, Francia Raisa as outspoken conservative Latina Ana Torres, Emily Arlook as openly and actively bisexual Nomi Segal, Jordan Buhat as troublemaker Vivek Shah, Chloe Bailey and Halle Bailey as twins and sporty-savants Jazz Forster and Sky Forster, Luka Sabbat as mellow and fashion-forward Luca Hall and Deon Cole as eccentric and unpredictable professor Charles Telphy.

The show is produced by ABC Signature Studios and executive produced by Kenya Barris, Julie Bean, Jenifer Rice-Genzuk Henry, Craig Doyle, Anthony Anderson, Laurence Fishburne, Helen Sugland and E. Brian Dobbins.
