Gugu Mbatha-Raw is doubling down with working with Apple TV+ after The Morning Show.
According to Deadline, Mbatha-Raw will star in Surface, an upcoming psychological thriller from Veronica West, the co-creator and executive producer of the High Fidelity reboot starring Zoë Kravitz.
No plot has been released regarding the eight-part series, but we do know that Mbatha-Raw is executive producing with Reese Witherspoon via her Hello Sunshine banner with Hello Sunshine’s Lauren Neustadter. Apple Studios is also producing.
This is not Mbatha-Raw’s only television role she has coming up. She is set to star in Disney+’s Marvel series, Loki.
