Hollywood icon Halle Berry has proven once more that she has one of the best senses of humor the industry.

At this year’s Oscars, Berry donned a beautiful berry-colored (no pun intended) Dolce & Gabbana gown with a deep sweetheart neckline and lavish bow. However, the dress was not the star of the show. The standout was Halle Berry’s blunt bob and mini bangs that gave us Beyoncé circa 2014.

Halle Berry’s hairstylist, Sara Seward teased the new cut on Instagram prior to its debut stating, “We came to play … ✂️✂️✂️ @halleberry #oscars2021.”

The new do’ was a stark contrast to Halle Berry’s honey blonde locks or pixie cut fans have come to love. In true Twitter fashion, many users used the platform to discuss their reactions. The comparisons ranged from Johnny Depp and Dora the Explorer to Lord Farquaad.

One user posted the infamous Saucy Santana bob meme, calling it “Halle Berry’s new do.” The tweet received 50,000 likes and a reply from the Oscar-winner herself.

Another Twitter user stated, “SOMEONE WANNA EXPLAIN TO ME WHY HALLE BERRY’S HAIRDRESSER GAVE HER A LORD FARQUAAD CUT”

Another user stated, “Halle Berry rocking the Edna Mode s/s collection.”

This isn’t the first time Halle Berry has joined in on Twitter fun. The actress back in April lent her comedic input on the “Baby, that’s Keke Palmer” meme.

Berry displayed her full look on Instagram with her boyfriend Van Hunt. The bob in its entirety can be seen. The textured layers and fringed bang is a new look for the actress.
