Halle Berry's "Dark Tide" Gets Some French Attention (Pics + Teaser Trailer)

Hmm… stumbled upon this French Facebook page for Halle’s Berry’s still unreleased shark thriller Dark Tide. On it, I found a much longer synopsis than anything I’ve seen thus far, as well as several photos of Halle, co-star Olivier Martinez, and a few sharks.

Also on the film’s newly-created French Facebook page, I saw the video embedded below, which I suppose could be a teaser; although we’ve already seen the full trailer (which I’m not sure was an authorized unveiling; we may get a different *real* trailer once a release date is set… or not).

I don’t know who created this Facebook page, and if it’s even legit. But there’s enough there for me to think that it might be. It was very recently created (I believe the first post is dated September 26) and it’s all in French; so this may all be gearing towards a release of the film in France.

Who knows…? Feel free to check out the Facepage for yourselves HERE.

First, here’s the full synosps:

DARK TIDE tells the story of famed shark naturalist and documentarian, Kate Mathiesen. Once world renowned for being the only person to free dive with Great White Sharks without the protection of a cage, Kate has been reluctant to return to the water since the tragic death of her beloved mentor by shark attack. Plagued by guilt since the accident, Kate has been spending her days giving mundane wildlife tours to South African tourists, no longer doing what she loves or what she was so obviously born to do. Now, with little to no money coming in, and her boat in danger of being repossessed, Kate must find a way to face her past. Championing those efforts on Kate’s behalf is her old partner and boyfriend, Jeff, whose surprise return to South Africa stirs up old emotions and painful memories. It is Jeff who convinces Kate to accept an interesting business proposal, forcing her to face her inner demons and get back in the water with the fiercest of predators…

And here’s what may be a teaser (it certainly sounds like Halle’s voice):
