HBO has revealed the premiere date for Insecure season 5 in a brand-new teaser!

The show’s final season will premiere on Sunday, Oct. 24. The final ten episodes will debut weekly on HBO and be available to stream on HBO Max.

According to the network, “the series continues to follow our favorite characters as they evaluate their relationships, both new and old, in an effort to figure out who and what comes with them in this next phase of their lives.”

Alongside creator Issa Rae, the fifth season also stars series regulars Yvonne Orji, Jay Ellis, Natasha Rothwell, Amanda Seales and Courtney Taylor.

Ellis recently teased the new season.

“It’s a journey,” he said on the Bevy Smith’s Bevelations podcast when talking about the Issa/Lawrence relationship. “You know, it’s a shocker because we just fell back in love, and we saw why, and we saw magic, and we saw that they’re soulmates. So you know, it’s a journey and we get to roll that out. That’s a real story that has happened to people that we know. So we get to roll that out and play with what that means. Like, is Issa gonna be a stepmom? Is she not down with it? Is Lawrence gonna be involved? Is he not gonna be involved? What does involvement look like?”

Insecure was created by Issa Rae & Larry Wilmore; executive produced by Issa Rae, Prentice Penny, Melina Matsoukas, Michael Rotenberg, Dave Becky, Jonathan Berry, Amy Aniobi and Jim Kleverweis.
