In one drop, HBO has renewed and ended The Deuce.

HBO has announced the show has been renewed for a third season, which will be its final.

The Deuce revolves around twin brothers Vincent and Frankie Martino, both portrayed by James Franco, as they navigate the porn business. The show, which is also executive produced by Franco, returned to HBO September 9.

The series also stars Maggie Gyllenhaal, Luke Cage standout Mustafa Shakir, The Roots’ Tariq Trotter (aka “Black Thought”), Gary Carr, Lawrence Gillard Jr., Method Man, Dominique Fishback, Gbenga Akinnagbe, Natalie Paul, Ngozie Jane Anyanwu, Anwan Glover and Pernell Walker.

There were concerns about Franco’s involvement on the show since earlier this year five women accused him of sexually inappropriate behavior. But David Simon, the co-creator and executive producer, along with HBO, have stood behind Franco, saying Franco has only been “entirely professional” while on set, and there haven’t been any complaints about Franco during the show’s production.
