Here's What's Coming To And Leaving Netflix In January 2020

Netflix is catering to comedy, queens and fun this January.

The streaming service started the month off by adding comedies, including two starring Will Smith, Hitch and Wild Wild West. In addition, the Spike Lee-directed The Original Kings of Comedy, featuring Steve Harvey, Cedric the Entertainer, D.L. Hughley and Bernie Mac is also available.

Netflix also rang in the new year by adding the critically-lauded Brazilian crime drama City of God (listed as one of Film4’s “50 Films to See Before You Die”), and buzzy reality series, The Circle.

Janelle Monáe narrates the new limited series Sex, Explained, which debuted January 2. Later this month, RuPaul’s AJ and the Queen and Tyler Perry’s first Netflix film Tyler Perry’s A Fall From Grace will debut on the streaming giant. Other debuts include the fourth season of Hip-Hop Evolution, the second season of Sex Education starring Ncuti Gatwa, and Family Reunion: Part 2, starring Tia Mowry-Hardrict and Loretta Devine.
