Here's Why Kyla Pratt's Randi Keeps Disappearing On The Job In This Week's 'Call Me Kat' Season 2 Premiere [Exclusive]

Kyla Pratt‘s character Randi gets called out for constantly disappearing on the job in an exclusive clip from the upcoming second season premiere of Call Me Kat.

In the clip, “Randi Keeps Disappearing,” Phil (Leslie Jordan) complains to Randi about not taking out the trash, part of her duties at the café. While she doesn’t divulge where she’s been going, the viewers see that she’s actually been fooling around with Carter (Julian Gant).

Here’s the episode logline: When a celebrity charity golf tournament comes to Louisville, it brings the cast of Blossom together for a long-awaited reunion. Meanwhile, Kat (Mayim Bialik) struggles with a romantic crisis and Randi (Kyla Pratt) and Phil (Leslie Jordan) get help in the cafe from a customer.

Joey Lawrence, Jenna von Oy & Michael Stoyanov guest star in the premiere.

Call Me Kat stars Mayim Bialik as Kat, a woman whose dream is to open and run a cat café. Around the corner, her crush and best friend Max (Cheyenne Jackson) works as a bartender at the nearby piano bar, making Kat’s romantic life complicated as she navigates her feelings for her friend with trying to find love.

According to the official description:

Based on the British series “Miranda,” created by Miranda Hart, CALL ME KAT stars Emmy Award nominee Mayim Bialik as an optimistic and fun-loving woman continuously defying societal expectations, and her mother’s wishes, to prove she can live a happy and fulfilling life on her own terms. Her first move? Using her entire savings to open a cat café in Louisville, KY. This season, Kat’s back, navigating life’s ups and downs with a little more self-assurance and a lot more whimsy…This year, Kat will find herself in all sorts of predicaments, handling them as only she can – with joy, humor, and positivity.

The cast also includes Swoosie Kurtz as Kat’s mother Sheila and Christopher Rivas as Kat’s new boyfriend Oscar.

The second season premiere of Call Me Kat airs Sunday, Jan. 9 after the NFL on Fox.
