Sanaa Lathan will star in Hit and Run, an upcoming action series for Netflix. The series’ co-creator and executive producer, Lior Raz, will also star.

According to Deadline, the series will feature Raz as Segev Azulai, a former Special Forces soldier whose life is ruined when his wife is killed in a mysterious accident in Tel Aviv. He searches for his wife’s killers in the U.S. with the help of an ex, New York journalist Naomi Hicks (Lathan). Through their search, they realize that his wife held more secrets than he imagined.

The series will also star Kaelen Ohm, Moran Rosenblatt and Gregg Henry. Gal Toren will also guest star. Along with Raz, Avi Issacharoff co-created the series and will be an executive producer with Dawn Prestwich and Nicole Yorkin. Yorkin and Prestwich will also serve as showrunners. Other executive producers include Mike Barker, who will also direct five episodes of the series, Kimberlin Belloni, Peter Principato and Itay Reiss of Artists First, and Todd Lieberman, David Hoberman and Laurie Zaks of Mandeville Films.
