The House of Tisci is one of the standout voguing houses on HBO’s second season of Legendary. The house, one of the season’s frontrunners keeps winning 10s across the board, and with good reason–they are trained dancers, models, and industry professionals. —

Riccardo Tisci is the namesake of the House of Tisci. For those not in the know, vogue houses usually name themselves after famous fashion designers, creating part of the link of the reciprocal relationship between fashion and the Black and Brown queer communities. The House of Tisci, therefore, is named after famed designer Riccardo Tisci, who was the creative designer for Givenchy and now Burberry, according to Out.com.

Tisci learned of the house and shouted them out on Instagram, saying, “I’m so humbly grateful and shocked to have a house with my name! You guys made me so proud! Send you all my love and support.”

Here are the house members that are performing on Legendary:

Mother Gia Tisci

Gia Tisci is the House Mother of the West Coast branch of the House of Tisci. She is a trained dancer as well as a model and actress. Also known by her real name Gia Banks, she is also a trans activist and talked about her relationship with her parents and grandmother in a “Legacy-Beyond the Runway” profile.

Simone Tisci

Simone Tisci is a dancer and model, but she’s also a professional makeup artist working in the entertainment industry. One of her more recent modeling campaigns includes Teyana Taylor‘s PrettyLittleThing collection. She also performed in “The Final Pose: An Exhibition Ball,” an online ball hosted by FX to celebrate the third season of Pose.

Stanley Tisci

Stanley Tisci, born Stanley Glover, Jr., hails from Chicago and Philadelphia. Like the rest of his house siblings, Glover is a trained dancer and was featured in Dance Magazine for his work with Philadelphia-based dance company BalletX. As reported in the magazine profile, Glover worked a year in Las Vegas as a principal dancer in Cirque du Soleil’s Mystère and teaches voguing while training in boxing, cheerleading, track and martial arts.

Dro Tisci

Born Joshua LaMar, Dro Tisci hailed from New York before joining the West Coast House of Tisci. Dro describes himself as a “triple threat,” listing dancing, singing and acting as his main talents. LaMar is also a model and, like all of the Tiscis, has professionally trained in dance. One of his dancing credits includes performing with the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre among other dance companies.

Tray Tisci

Born Travon Manya, Tray Tisci is from Chicago and is an Alvin Ailey-trained professional dancer, listed as an “Ailey 2 Apprentice” on Instagram. Tray is also a model and showcases his modeling on his Instagram.
