Just in time for the social distancing period we’re in, Huslters is coming to television.

It’ll debut on showtime on Saturday, April 25 at 9 p.m. Subscribers will be able to view it on the premium cable channel, Showtime On Demand, Showtime Anytime and the Showtime streaming service. Freeform will debut the film on regular cable later this year.

Hustlers, which debuted last year at the Toronto International Film Festival, gave Jennifer Lopez her first Golden Globe nomination since Selena.

Directed by Lorene Scafaria, the film is based on a New York Magazine/The Cut article from 2015 titled “The Hustlers at Scores.” It follows “a crew of savvy former strip club employees who band together to turn the tables on their Wall Street clients.”

The film stars Jennifer Lopez, Constance Wu, Cardi B, Lili Reinhart, Keke Palmer, Lizzo and Julia Stiles. Mercedes Ruehl, Mette Towley and Trace Lysette co-star.

Our TIFF review of the film reads, “Consisting of the scrappy storytelling qualities of an indie film yet having the crowd-pleasing mentality of blockbusters, Hustlers will hopefully pave the way for investment in these types of narratives that subvert the narratives of sex workers often depicted on screen. It’s no doubt that Hustlers is one of the most fun times you’ll have at the movies all year.”
