Good Girls star Manny Montana is the latest actor to join Dominique Thorne in the Marvel series Ironheart at Disney+.

He also joins Lyrics Ross and Anthony Ramos. All roles besides Thorne’s titular one are under wraps.

The series’ head writer is Chinaka Hodge, who has written for TNT’s Snowpiercer as well as Apple TV+’s Amazing Stories. Hodge has also written two books of poetry, plays and founded The Getback hip hop collective with Daveed Diggs.

In the series, Thorne stars as Riri Williams:

“The teenager who develops her own Iron Man suit after becoming inspired by Tony Stark. Williams becomes the next to take the mantle from Stark in the MCU. In the comics, she similarly took over for Stark, however, in the comics, Stark survives many close shaves, while in the MCU, Stark sacrificed himself for the safety of the universe in Avengers: Endgame.”

The character will make her first debut in Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.
