Jamie Foxx Books Starring Role in Crime-Thriller, 'Blink'


Announced at Cannes, Jamie Foxx has booked the starring role in Atlas Entertainment’s thriller, "Blink," which will be directed by Noam Murro, who directed "300: Rise Of An Empire," from a script penned by Hernany Perla.

"Blink," was a 2014 Black List script follows a hospital caregiver with ulterior motives (to be played by Foxx) who is assigned to look after the mysterious victim of a bank robbery. 

Production is expected to begin this fall with William Green and Aaron Ginsburg of Atlas Entertainment producing, and Jake Kurily executive producing. 

Highland Film Group is shopping the project at the Cannes Market, which is ongoing.

Foxx had a busy 2014, appearing in "Annie," "Horrible Bosses 2," "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" and voicing characters in 2 animated movies. He doesn’t have much on his plate currently, however.
