Apple celebrated the season two premiere of Ted Lasso at the Pacific Design Center in Los Angeles on Thursday night. Talent on the red carpet included stars Jason Sudeikis, Hannah Waddingham, Brendan Hunt, Jeremy Swift, Juno Temple, Brett Goldstein, Cristo Fernández, Moe Jeudy-Lamour and Sam Richardson.

Bill Lawrence (Executive Producer & Writer), Bill Wrubel (Executive Producer & Writer), Joe Kelly Executive Producer) and Marcus Mumford (Composer) were also present.

Additional attendees included Apple’s Tim Cook (CEO, Apple), Jamie Erlicht (Head of Worldwide Video, Apple) and Zack Van Amburg (Head of Worldwide Video, Apple) as well more entertainment and sports stars.

Sudeikis used the opportunity to support the Black players on England’s soccer team who were subjected to racist abuse onlinie after their loss to Italy recently. His sweater had their names “Jadon & Marcus & Bakayo,” for 21-year-old Jadon Sancho, 23-year-old Marcus Rashford and 19-year-old Bakayo Saka. It was the perfect opportunity as Ted Lasso just happens to be soccer-themed.
