Super producer Jesse Collins has been appointed by Jay-Z to be the executive producer of The Pepsi Super Bowl LV Halftime Show. The Super Bowl will take place in Tampa, Florida on February 7, 2021.

Collins joins executive producers Roc Nation and director Hamish Hamilton. His recent work includes the CBS special John Lewis: Celebrating A Hero, the Grammy Awards and the BET Awards. 

“It is an honor to be a part of such an iconic show at such an important time in our history,” said Collins, who is the Founder & CEO, Jesse Collins Entertainment.  “I am grateful to JAY-Z, Desiree Perez, the entire Roc Nation family and the NFL for granting me this opportunity.”

Jay-Z’s appointment makes Collins the show’s first-ever Black executive producer.
