Johnny Depp-Led Notorious B.I.G. Film Yanked From Schedule A Month Ahead Of Its Release

City of Lies, the Johnny Depp-fronted film about an investigation into the murder of the Notorious B.I.G. has been pulled from its distributor’s schedule.

The film (fka LABbyrinth) was scheduled to be in theaters September 7 via Global Road Entertainment.

No other release date has been announced.

Depp has been shrounded in controversy recently after a Rolling Stone profile chronicled his bad behavior and downward spiral. He has been accused of abuse by former ex-wife, actress Amber Heard. Also, a City of Lies crew member said Depp punched him twice.

The film also stars Forest Whitaker, Rockmond Dunbar and Shamier Anderson
