Jonathan Majors’ Kang The Conqueror makes a grand entrance in the first trailer for Marvel’s Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.

Paul Rudd makes his return as the titular character along with Evangeline Lilly, Michael Douglas, and Michelle Pfeiffer.

Newcomers include Kathryn Newton as Cassie Lang, Ant-Man’s daughter, Bill Murray as Krylar, a villain from the Quantum Realm and Majors, who makes his MCU film debut as Kang the Conqueror after portraying a version of the character (He Who Remains) in the Disney+ series Loki.

Here's the description:

In the film, which officially kicks off phase 5 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Super-Hero partners Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) and Hope Van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly) return to continue their adventures as Ant-Man and the Wasp. Together, with Hope’s parents Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) and Janet Van Dyne (Michelle Pfeiffer), the family finds themselves exploring the Quantum Realm, interacting with strange new creatures and embarking on an adventure that will push them beyond the limits of what they thought was possible.

Marvel Studios president previously spoke about Majors and Kang

While speaking with ComicBook.com, Marvel Studios’ President Kevin Feige said Jonathan Majors’ Kang is “totally different from Thanos” and has multiple incarnations.

“It’s not just how about there’s a bigger purple guy with a helmet. That’s not what Kang is,” Feige said. “Kang is a very different type of villain and the fact that he is many, many different characters is what’s most exciting and most differentiates him.”

Feige added, “It’s amazing, and I said to [Majors] there’s nobody’s shoulders I’d rather be putting the multiverse saga on than his. It’s really impressive what Jonathan Majors is able to do and all the different incarnations, variants, if you will, of Kang that we will see him do. It’s really pretty cool.”
