New details about Jordan Peele’s next film have been revealed. The film is titled Nope, and it will be released on July 22, 2022. As we previously reported, the film will star Keke Palmer, Daniel Kaluuya and Steven Yeun.

Peele dropped the poster for the film on Thursday. Details on the film’s plot and secrets are still being kept secret.

Palmer briefly spoke about joining the film earlier this year, stating  “It’s just the kinda thing that’s serendipitous. Things are aligned. It’s like the things you wish for actually coming to fruition.”

As Deadline highlighted when they broke the initial news of her casting, “Peele had been spending the fall meeting with talent for the film before coming across Palmer for the lead role. The two already had ties together going back to Peele’s days on the Key & Peele show and after meeting Palmer for his latest project, was quick to offer her the lead of his next project.” Of course, Kaluuya was the star of Peele’s acclaimed film, Get Out.

This will be Peele’s third feature following Get Out and Us. It will be under the five-year deal his production company, Monkeypaw, has at Universal.
