Jordan Peele is working on his next movie and it will be released during the 2024 holiday season.

According to Variety, the filmmaker’s fourth movie will open in theaters nationwide on Wednesday, Dec. 25, 2024. So far, there is no word on what this next film will be about. Similar to his last three films, Peele is keeping a tight lip on information surrounding this upcoming project. Peele’s Monkeypaw has also set another film from the production company for Sept. 27, 2024. That film does not have a director attached.

As of this writing, for both films, there is no word on what the title will be, what genre this film will fall under, or who is set to star.

Peele’s next project is set to debut 7 years after Peele released his debut feature, Get Out, starring Daniel Kaluuya in 2017. The movie grossed $255 million and earned four Oscar nominations.

Two years later, Peele dropped his doppelgänger thriller Us, which also generated $255 million worldwide. The filmmaker’s latest movie, “Nope,” was released in theaters this past summer and collected more than $170 million globally.

Peele’s fourth film will premiere one week after James Cameron’s Avatar 3 and Sonic the Hedgehog 3, as both are set to debut on Dec. 20, 2024.
