Jordan Peele's Next Horror Film Gets Release Date From Universal

Universal Pictures has given a July 22, 2022 release date to the studio’s next horror film from Jordan Peele. The studio brought the world Peele’s first two films, Get Out and Us, which were commercial hits.

No details about the movie are known yet, including plot details or cast members. The studio is just billing it as a “horror event.” Of course, this release date may change due to the coronavirus pandemic, but this move shows that Universal is eager to get a date on the schedule to reserve for now.

For anyone thinking of Candyman, this is unrelated to that film. Remember, Jordan Peele is just a producer on Candyman and co-wrote the script with its director, Nia DaCosta. Candyman‘s release date is set for August 27, 2021.

More to come.
