The third season of HBO’s True Detective continues to fill out.

It was announced Wednesday that Justice Leauge star Ray Fisher has been added as a series regular, and will play Mahershala Ali’s son.

The upcoming season will center around “a macabre crime in the heart of the Ozarks, and a mystery that deepens over decades and plays out in three separate time periods. Ali will play the lead role of Wayne Hays, a state police detective from Northwest Arkansas.”

Carmen Ejogo will play Amelia Reardon, an Arkansas schoolteacher with a connection to two missing children in 1980.  Stephen Dorff, Scoot McNairy and Mamie Gummer are also series regulars.

He made his main acting debut in Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice as Cyborg, prior to Justice League.
