Keke Palmer Asked Whoopi Goldberg To Be In 'Sister Act 3' And How She Responded Is Golden

Keke Palmer is an actress that stays booked and busy. Palmer is always involved in a project. If you have been watching the last season of HBO's “Insecure” then you know Palmer plays Condola (Christina Elmore)’s sister on the show.

In September, Palmer tweeted about her excitement for Season 5 which caused has to speculate. In an effort to clear the mixup, Palmer pitched to Issa Rae via Twitter.

She wrote, “Hey @IssaRae there’s been a mix up. I posted about my excitement for season 5 of Insecure and now everyone thinks I’m gonna be on it. We can’t let them down, put me in to beat Condola’s a** real quick."

On Wednesday, Palmer appeared on The View to promote her latest project, Southern Belle Insults.

She took a page out of her own book and pitched Whoopi Goldberg for a part in Sister Act 3.

During her interview, Palmer turned to Goldberg stating, “Now Whoopi, I gotta shoot my shot, like I did with Issa a little bit ago. I heard that Tyler Perry is doing Sister Act 3 and I just want you to know I’m available for the job. Any job. I mean, you ain’t got to say nothing now, you know, I’ll send you an email or something. Just let me know if you need me.”

Goldberg smiling replied, “I already brought it up.”

Nothing has been confirmed as of yet, but if a tweet can get a role on the hottest series on HBO, then a face-to-face pitch should be a little more convincing.

Palmer has also previously worked Tyler Perry, so it seems like this could actually happen.
