Kenan Thompson has been a crucial part of Saturday Night Live for the past 19 years, cementing himself as a true legend of the NBC sketch comedy institution.

Recently, Thompson learned is close to achieving a very impressive milestone. He’s just three sketches away from appearing in 1500 sketches over his time on the show, putting him in a league of his own.

Thompson took to Instagram to celebrate the news.

Thompson, who has been the most consistent part of SNL for the past 19 years, will reach another milestone next year when he will enter 20 years as a cast member.

At this point, most people probably can’t imagine the show without Kenan’s iconic sketches like ‘What’s Up With That’ which is always a highlight of any SNL.
